Shah Rukh Khan Hopeful about the Future of Indian Hockey

Shah Rukh Khan has been lauded extensively for his role of a hockey coach in last year’s movie Chak De India. Bollywood’s super star has recently come to Kolkata to launch his IPL team- Kolkata Night Riders. At the launching ceremony he expressed his hopes regarding India’s Hockey team that have recently failed to qualify for this year’s Olympics Games. Shah Rukh said that in any sports win-loss is very natural and no team can win always. Indicating Indian cricket team’s recent triumph over Australia in the CB series final, the star actor said that after that defeat Australia was not finished. Shah Rukh expressed that India hockey would rock again and would get over what happened recently to the team.

Sify.com reported:

"In any kind of sports, we cannot always win and we can also lose. I am sure that Indian hockey will rock again," Shah Rukh said.

"We should quickly get over the blame game (over the defeat)," he said.

Referring to Australia's defeat against India in the final in the recently concluded triangular cricket series, he said, "Australia is not finished as a cricket team after this loss."

Well, Shah Rukh Khan was a soccer player himself and hoped to continue doing movies on overall sports of India in future as he did on hockey last year. Dubbed as Bollywood King, Shah Rukh is considered to be one of the best actors of India today. He is one of the owners of IPL team of Kolkata.
