Minissha Lamba Felt Validated While Signing for Yash Raj Films’ Bachna Ae Haseenon

Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba is thrilled with Yash Raj Films’ movie Bachna Ae Haseenon, in which she plays one of the leading female roles. The movie is now being filmed and reportedly 60% works of the movie has been finished already. In a recent interview, Minissha Lamba said that she had felt validated while signing the Yash Raj Films’ next project.

Ranbir Kapoor plays the male lead roles in the movie while Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone will be seen in two other female lead roles in the movie. Lamba came into Bollywood arena with 2005 movie Yahaan, which was critically acclaimed. Following her debut film, the Bollywood damsel was also featured in the movie like Corporate, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. etc. She said that she always prioritized the story whenever signing a movie.

Businessofcinema reported:

So what do you go for first when a film is offered to you... the script, your character or the banner?
Story! It always helps to have a good banner, but in the end everything boils down to being part of a good movie. Like Anamika is an author-backed role for me. It is the Indian version of Rebecca.

I am also doing Kidnap with Sanjay Gadhvi and there is Siddharth Anand's film with Ranbir in it, this is for Yash Raj.

These are all varied roles and I have enjoyed all these scripts at the narration level.
How did it feel to have bagged a film with Yash Raj?
After working in the film industry for two years, I felt validated when I signed a film with Yash Raj, because now I am actually working with people I have aspired to work with.

Minissha Lamba’s upcoming film Shaurya is going to hit the screens very soon. She started her career as a model and was intended to her education, rather than building a career in acting. She graduated from Miranda House, University of Delhi majoring in English. No doubt, Bachna Ae Haseenon is going to be her first big banner movie. Now, let us see if she could turn it into a breakthrough movie in his career in order to have a successful movie career in Bollywood.
