Bollywood’s lastest craze Deepika Padukone is going to star in a romantic comedy of director Sajid Khan. The Om Shanti Om star will play one of female lead roles opposite Akshay Kumar. The movie includes three pairs of stars. Director’s good friend Ritesh Deshmukh has also been confirmed to play one of the leading roles of the movie. Deepika got the offer from Sajid when they were in Bangkok. Deepika did not take much time to say yes after hearing the story of the movie. The movie will also be produced the director himself.

Akshay Kumar will be one of the leading men and Deepika will be paired with him. Reports have it that Sajid Khan met Deepika in Bangkok and offered her the role in his film. She readily accepted it after hearing the story.

Following the success of her debut film Om Shanti Om, Deepika Padukone has been flooded with new offers from big production houses and well-known directors. The actress is currently involved in a Yah Raj production which is directed by Siddharth Anand. With this movie, Deepika Padukone will appear on the big screen opposite her real life love bird Ranbir Kapoor. Deepika has also signed in an action movie titled Chandni Chowk To China where she will be paired with Akshay Kumar. So, it seems that Deepika Padukone is enjoying the fullest of both of her professional and personal life.
