Deepika Padukone: My Dad Resembled Rishi Uncle in their Younger Days

Deepika Padukone has recently talked about her love bird Ranbir Kapoor’s parents in a voice full of praise. Deepika said that her father, Prakash Padukone, looks like Rishi Kapoor, father of Ranbir, in terms of their appearance. The new damsel of Bollywood also expressed that Rishi Kapoor and his wife Neetu Singh was the most compatible couple she had ever seen.

Deepika Padukone recently admitted her love affair with Ranbir Kapoor, the latest craze of Kapoor family. Terming Neetu a poised and articulate person, Deepika also had praise for her would-be-in-laws for the upbringing of their children.

Mid-way reported:

“Rishi uncle is so warm. As for Neetu aunty, she has an aura of natural grace and charm about her. She’s very poised and articulate. I’ve met her more than I’ve met uncle. We’re going to be working together. We had a reading together recently. Rishi uncle’s so passionate about cinema. I’ve so much to learn from him.”

“Both Ranbir and his sister Riddhima have been brought up with the right values. They come from such an illustrious family. And yet, they’re so down-to-earth. I see many similarities between their upbringing and mine. Though both Ranbir and I were exposed to celebrity situations from childhood, our parents have made sure we’re firmly rooted to reality.”

Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor both entered into Bollywood last year with buzzing performance in their debut movies. Both of them have been award with the Filmfare Best Debut Award this year. The two gorgeous youngsters fall for each other during the long spell of shooting of Bachna Ae Haseenon under the banner of Yash Raj Films in Australia. Though Deepika had reportedly an affair with cricketer Yuvraj Singh and Ranbir was linked up with Sonam Kapoor, they have turned into the most talked-about pair of Bollywood overnight. Both the love birds are also being offered from well-known directors and big production houses of the industry.
